Interview with Amzie Moore conducted for America, They Loved You Madly, a precursor to Eyes on the Prize. Discussion centers on life under segregation, his activism, and cases of lynching that he investigated, including the Emmett Till case.
The original interview elements, 16mm negative and 1/4" audio reel to reel, were preserved during 2010-2016 due to the generosity of a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. As part of an internal process, the preserved film were digitized to create 10-bit uncompressed SD files and the preserved full coat magnetic elements were digitized to create 24-bit 96kHz .wav files. The picture and audio were then reassembled at the Film & Media Archive.
