                        prinipal, and<lb/>

                     <persName>Joseph H Conn</persName>   
                     <persName>Randalph</persName>
                  </seg> as securities,<lb/> are held and firmly
                        bound unto the State of Missouri, in the just and<lb/> full sum of <seg rend="form-fill-in">Ten</seg>hundred Dollars, lawful money of the<lb/>
                        United State, for the payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs,
                        executors<lb/> and administrators, firmly by these presents, sealed with our
                        seals, and<lb/> dated this <seg rend="form-fill-in">
                     <date when="1847-03-02">2nd</date>
                  </seg> day of <date when="1847-03-02">
                     <seg rend="form-fill-in">March</seg> A.D. 184<seg rend="form-fill-in">7</seg>
                  </date>
               </p>
                    <p>The condition of the above Obligation is such, that whereas, the said<lb/>
                        <seg rend="form-fill-in">
                     <persName>Benjamin Quill</persName>
                  </seg> has applied to the
                        County Court<lb/> of St. Louis County for, and obtained a license to reside
                        in the State of<lb/> Missouri, during good behavior: Now, if the said
                        applicant shall be of<lb/> good character and behavior during <seg rend="form-fill-in">his</seg> residence in the State of Missouri, then
                        this<lb/> obligation to be void, else of full force and virtue.
