               <p>And the said plaintiff as to the said plea of the said defendant by<lb/> 
                  <seg rend="form-fill-in">him first "</seg> above pleaded,<lb/> and whereof <seg rend="form-fill-in">he</seg> puts <seg rend="form-fill-in">himself</seg> upon the country, does the like.</p>
               <p>And as to the said plea of the defendant by <seg rend="form-fill-in">him secondly</seg> above<lb/> pleaded, the plaintiff says, that, by reason of any thing by the defendant<lb/> in that plea alleged, she the said plaintiff ought not to be barred or pre-<lb/>cluded from having and maintaining <seg rend="form-fill-in">her</seg> aforesaid action thereof against<lb/> the said defendant; because <seg rend="form-fill-in">she</seg> says that <seg rend="form-fill-in">she the said defendant<lb/> at the time the said trespasses   grievances in the said declaration<lb/> mentioned are alleged whose been committed was not<lb/> a slave</seg>
                  <lb/> in manner and form as the defendant <seg rend="form-fill-in">has</seg> above thereof in <seg rend="form-fill-in">his</seg>
                  <lb/> said <seg rend="form-fill-in">second</seg> plea alleged; and this the plaintiff prays may be enquired<lb/> of by the country, &amp;c.</p>
               <p>And as to the said plea of the defendant by <seg rend="form-fill-in">him <unclear rend="written" unit="chars"/>
