        will give him five or six hundred dollars out<lb/> of the aforesaid ballance

        be able in this<lb/> honorable court where the <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">

                  <lb/> would pay him a certain
        sum of money <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>less</supplied>
                  </unclear> than<lb/>
                  <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>half</supplied>
                  </unclear> the
        amount of said balance for which he has<lb/> obtained judgement. In the
        fullness of his <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>hopes</supplied>

                  <lb/> that the laws of
        this country would <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>afford</supplied>
                  </unclear> him an<lb/>
