                    <p>Know all men by these presents that we <lb/>
                        <persName>Clemson Meachum</persName> as principal and <persName>Berry <lb/>
                        Meachum</persName> as security are held &amp; firmly <lb/>
                        bound unto the State of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> in the <lb/>
                        sum of four hundred dollars that is to <lb/>
                        say the said <persName>Clemson Meachum</persName> in <lb/>
                        the sum of two hundred dollars and the <lb/>
                        said <persName>Berry Meachum</persName> in the sum of <lb/>
                        two hundred dollars to the payment <lb/>
                        whereof we hereto bind ourselves.
                    </p>
                    <p>The condition of the above obligation <lb/>
                        is such that whereas the said <persName>Clemson</persName> 
                  <lb/>
                        has this day been licensed by the County <lb/>
                        Court of S Louis County to remain in the <lb/>
                        State of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> as provided by Law <lb/>
                        Now if the said Clemson shall be of <lb/>
                        good behavior then this obligation to be <lb/>
                        void else to remain in full force
                    </p>
