                    <p>Know all men by these presents that we<lb/>
                        <persName>Lucy Martin</persName> as principal and <persName>Augustin<lb/>
                        Kennedy </persName>as security are held and firmly<lb/>
                        bound unto the State of <choice>

                  </choice> in the<lb/>
                            sum of two hundred dollars to the pay=<lb/>
                            ment of which we bind ourselves, our<lb/>
                            heirs, executors and administrators and<lb/>
                            each and every of them firmly by them&gt;lb/&gt;
                            presents, sealed with our seals and dated<lb/>
                            this <date when="1843-05-03">third day of May in the year Eigh=<lb/>
                            teen hundred and forty-three</date>
               </p>
                    <p>The condition fo this obligation is such<lb/>
                        that whereas on the <date when="1843-05-03"/>third day of May<lb/>
                        of the year above written the County Court<lb/>
                        or the county of St. Louis and state of <lb/>
                        <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice>_Now if the said <persName>Lucy Martin</persName>
                  <lb/>
                        shall during the residence in said<lb/>
                        state, will deport and conduct her=<lb/>
                        self as a good and orderly citizen then<lb/>
                        this obligation to be void, otherwise to re=<lb/>
                        main in full force and effect in law
