                    <p>Know all Men by These Presents,<lb/> that we <persName>Antoine
                            LaBeaume</persName> as prinipal, and<lb/>
                        <persName>C Edmond LaBeaume</persName> and <persName>Louis A
                            LaBeaume</persName> as securities,<lb/> are firmly held and bound unto
                        the State of Missouri, in the sum of <seg rend="form-fill-in">one</seg>thousand Dollars, for the payment<lb/> of which we bind ourselves,
                        our<lb/> heirs,executors and administrators, firmly by<lb/> these
                        presents,<lb/> Provided, however,that whereof the said<lb/>
                        <persName>Antoine LaBeaume</persName> has obtained a license<lb/> from the
                        county court of St Louis County<lb/> state of Missouri in accordance
                        with<lb/> An act entitled an act concerning free<lb/> negroes and mulattoes,
                        approved <date when="1825-03-26">March<lb/> 26th 1825</date> to reside
                        within the state<lb/> of Missouri, as long as his behaviors is<lb/> good,
                        there this bond shall be void and of<lb/> none effect, otherwise it shall
                        remain and<lb/> be in full force and effect.</p>
                    <p>The winess whereof we have<lb/> hereunto set our lands and seals this<lb/>
                        <date when="1846-12-05">fifth day of December eighteen hhundred<lb/> and
                            forty six</date>
