                  </persName> Lttleton of<lb/> a plea of trespass assault and battery and<lb/> false imprisonment for that heretofore to wit<lb/> on the <date when="1846-06-08">eighth day of June in the year one thous<lb/>and eight hundred and forty six</date> at the County<lb/> aforesaid with force and arms upon the body<lb/> of the said plaintiff the said defendant an assault did make and then the said<lb/> plaintiff “did then” and there beat, wound and<lb/> ill-treat and did then and there imprison and<lb/> restrain of her liberty for a long space of time<lb/> to wit for the space of one year against the will<lb/> of the said plaintiff and other wrongs the said<lb/> defendant then and there <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">

                  </unclear> against<lb/> the said plaintiff to the great damage of said<lb/> plaintiff to wit in the sum of one thousand<lb/> dollars and therefore, she sues.</p>
               <p>And also afterwards to wit on<lb/> the same day and year aforesaid <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">

                  </unclear> to wit<lb/> the County aforesaid the said defendant with<lb/> force and arms seized took the said plaintiff<lb/> and imprisoned her and kept and detained<lb/> her for a long space of time to wit for the<lb/> space of one year against the will of the said<lb/> plaintiff and the said defendant did then and<lb/> there compel the said plaintiff by means of<lb/> the force and false imprisonment aforesaid<lb/> to work and labor for the said plaintiff for a<lb/> long space of time to wit for the space of six months the next following against the<lb/> will of said plaintiff, and the said plaintiff<lb/>
