                    <p>Know all men by these presents that <persName>Addison Martin</persName>
                  <lb/>
                        as Principal <persName>Samuel Gaty</persName> as Security are held +<lb/>
                    firmly bound unto the State of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> each in the sum<lb/>
                        of Two Hundred Dollars for the payment of which well &amp;<lb/>
                        truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs executors<lb/>
                        &amp; adminsitrators _ each _ every one of them by these presents_<lb/>
                        Signed by us &amp; Sealed wit our Seal this <date when="1843-09-20">
                     <sic>twentyth</sic> day of September<lb/>
                            in the year of our Lord 1843_</date>
               </p>
                    <p>The condition of this obligation is such that where as the<lb/>
                        County Court of S Louis County has granted to the said<lb/>
                        <persName>Addison Martin</persName> a Licence to reside in the State of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice>
                  <lb/>
                        Now if the said <persName>
                     <unclear unit="words" quantity="2" rend="strikethrough">Mike Bufseron</unclear>
                  </persName>
                  <persName>Addison Martin</persName> during<lb/>
                        his residence in the said State of  <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> shall be of good<lb/>
                        bahavior then there obligation to be void, otherwise remain<lb/>
                        in full force &amp; virtue in Law_</p>
