                  </unclear>) had said was not evidence in this<lb/> cause, on the ground, that it appeared on the face of the<lb/> papers filed in the cause, that the said delaudetaraty is <unclear rend="strikethrough" unit="chars"/>
                  <lb/> security for the defendant in the appeal bond and therefore<lb/> was in competent to testify on the ground of interest in the<lb/> suit the court excluded the <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
