                    <p>Know all men by these presents that <persName>Louisa Jones</persName>
                  <lb/>
                        as principal and <persName>Miron Leslie</persName> as <lb/>
                    surety are held and firmly bound unto the<lb/>
                     State of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> in the penal sum of Two<lb/>
                    hundred Dollars for the payment of which<lb/>
                    well and truly to be made we bind ourselves<lb/>
                    our heirs executors and administrators firmly<lb/>
                    by these presents signed with hands and<lb/>
                    sealed with our seals and dated this<lb/>
                        <date when="1843-05-02">2nd day of May A.D. 1843</date>
               </p>
                    <p>Now the conditions of this bond is such that<lb/>
                    Whereas the County Court of Saint Louis<lb/>
                    County have this day granted Louisa<lb/>
                        As the above bonnder <persName>Louisa Jones</persName> to remain<lb/>
                        and reside in the <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice>
                  <lb/>
                    according to the statute in each case made<lb/>
                    and <unclear unit="chars" quantity="9"/> above if the said Louisa<lb/>
                    shall during her residence be of<lb/>
                    good behavior and of peaceable<lb/>
                        and <sic>ordely</sic> conduct then this oblig<lb/>
                    ation to be void otherwise to remain<lb/>
