                  </unclear> Nevertheless, the said<lb/> Plaintiff in <sic>fait</sic> saith, that after the making of<lb/> the said writing obligatory, he the said Shother did<lb/> not, at the said march Term in said condition —<lb/> mentioned, return said Mulatto Girl to the said<lb/> sheriff of St Louis County, as he was by said condi<lb/>tion of said writing obligatory bound to do, worded<lb/> said Shother or any other person for him, return<lb/> to said sheriff, the said Mulatto Girl, during the presi<lb/>dency of said suit, as he was bound by said condition<lb/> to do, but kept &amp; detained said mulatto from<lb/> the said Sheriff, in his <unclear>popepion</unclear> and <unclear>contract</unclear>
                  <lb/> till the determination of said suit in said<lb/> circuit Court, whereby said Plaintiff hath sustained<lb/> damages amounting to the sum of forty seven dollars,<lb/> &amp; six &amp; a half cents — whereby are action hath occured to<lb/> him the said Plaintiff to demand and <unclear rend="written" unit="chars"/>
