                    <p>Know all men by these presents that <persName>Ottowa Wetmore</persName> as<lb/>
                    principal and <persName>George H Kennerly</persName> as security are held<lb/>
                    and firmly bound unto the state of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> each in<lb/>
                    the sum of two hundred Dollars for the payment of<lb/>
                    which well &amp; truly to be made _ we bind ourselvs_<lb/>
                    our heirs Executors <add place="above">or</add> Administrators and each and<lb/>
                    every them, by these presents signed by us <add place="above">&amp;</add> sealed <lb/>
                    with our seals and dated this <date when="1843-09-20"> twentieth day of -<lb/>
                    September in the year of our Lorde Eighteen_<lb/>
                        hundred and forty-three</date>
               </p>
                    <p>The Condition of this Obligation is<lb/>
                    such that whereas the County Court of St. Louis<lb/>
                    County has granted to the said <persName>Ottowa Wetmore</persName> during<lb/>
                    his residence in said State of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> shall<lb/>
                    be of good behaviour then this Obligation to be <lb/>
                        void otherwise remain in full force and <lb/>
                    virtue in Law</p>
