                    <p>Know all Men by these presents that <persName>Mike <lb/>

                  </persName> as Principal &amp; <persName>Samuel Gaty</persName> as Security <lb/>
                        are held &amp; firmly bound unto the State of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> 
                  <lb/>
                        each in the sum of Two Hundred dollars for the <lb/>
                        payment of which well &amp; truly to be made we bind <lb/>
                        ourselves our heirs executors &amp; administrators &amp; each <lb/>
                        &amp; every one of them by these presents _ Signed by us <lb/>
                        &amp; sealed with our Seal this <date when="1843-09-07">Seventh day of September, in <lb/>
                        the year of our Lord 1843</date>.
                    </p>
                    <p>The condition of this obligation is such, that whereas <lb/>
                        the County Court of St Louis County has granted to the <lb/>
                        said <persName>Mike <choice>
                        <orig>Bufseron</orig>
                        
                     </choice>
                  </persName> a license to reside in the State <lb/>
                        of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice>. Now if the said <persName>Mike <choice>
                        <orig>Bufseron</orig>
                        
                     </choice>
                  </persName> during <lb/>
                        his residence in the said State of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> shall <lb/>
                        be of good behaviour then these obligations to be <lb/>
                        void, otherwise remain in full force &amp; virtue in <lb/>
                        law.
