                  </unclear> and merchandise to trade and<lb/> barter with the northwestern indians and then and<lb/> there carried away the said boats together with the<lb/> goods wares and merchandise on board thereof and<lb/> kept and detained the same for a long <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">

                  </unclear> to wit<lb/> for the space of three months. Whereby the said<lb/> plaintiffs were hindered and prevented from carrying<lb/> on their said trade with the said indians for that<lb/> season and last and were <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
