                    <p>Know all men by these presents that we <persName>Harriet Johnson</persName>
                  <lb/>
                        as principal and <persName>Jonas Moore</persName> her security are held<lb/>
                        and firmly bound to the state of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice>, in the<lb/>
                        sum of one thousand Dollars lawful money of the<lb/>
                        United States, for the payment of which we hereby<lb/>
                        bindourselves our heirs executors and admnistrators<lb/>
                        firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals and<lb/>
                        dated at St. Louis the <date when="1846-12-10">tenth day of December 1846</date>
                        
                    </p>
                    <p>The condition of this obligation is such that Whereas<lb/>
                    the said <persName>Harriet</persName> has applied for and obtained a li=<lb/>
                    cense to reside in the state of <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> during <lb/>
                    good behavior, Now if she the said <persName>Harriet</persName>
                  <lb/>
                    shall be of good behavior during her residence<lb/>
                    in this state, then this bond shall be void else<lb/>
                    of full effect</p>
