William Clark plaintiff states that he holds a note on the defendants Robert N Martin and John Clark in substance as forthwith, "Twelve months after date we or either of as prom ice to pay William Clark or bearer one hundred and ten dollars for value received of him this sixth day of november 1833

William Clark plaintiff states that he holds a note on the defendants: Robert N. We command you to summon Robert N Martin and John Clark that they be and appear before the Judge of our Circuit Court on the second day of the next term thereof to be held at the city of St Louis within and for the County of Saint Louis on the fourth monday of march instant then and there to answer unto the above demand of William Clark as set forth in his petition of which the above is a copy and have you then there this writ

Witness Archibald Gamble Clerk of our said Circuit Court at office this second day of March in the year One thousand Eight Hundred and thirty five Archibald Gamble Clerk

Executed this writ by delivering a true copy of it & the petition to John Clark on the fourth & to Robert N Martin on the seventh days of March 1835 in the county of St Louis
