<p>Now at this day comes the said plaintiff by F White his attorney and <lb/>says he will not prosecute his said suit against the said defendant but voluntarily suffer the <lb/>same to be discontinued Therefore it is considered that the said plaintiff take nothing by his said <lb/>writ and that the said defendant go thereof without day and it is further considered that the <lb/>said defendants recover against the said plaintiff his cost and charges by him about his defence <lb/>in the behalf expended and that he have thereof Execution</p>

<p>Now at this day come <add place="above">thy </add>parties aforesaid by their respective attor <lb/>-nies aforesaid and neither of the parties requiring a Jury all and singular the premises are by them <lb/>submitted to the court which being seen and heard and by the Court here fully understood the court <lb/>the Court do find as to the <choice><orig>ifsue</orig><reg>issue</reg></choice> within Joined between the parties aforesaid that there is a record <lb/>of the recovery in the said declaration mentioned remaining in the said Superior Court of law <lb/>for the County of Humico in the State of Virginia in manner and form as the said plaintiffs have <lb/>above in their declaration alledged. Therefore it is considered that the said Rubin &amp; William Burton <lb/>recover against the said Samuel Woodson administrator and Sarah Plauvis administrator of <lb/>Wanrer Lewis deceased the sum of nine Hundred and fifty dollars and forty nine cents for their <lb/>said debt and also the further sum of One hundred and sixty seven dollars and nine cents for <lb/>their damages by them sustained by reason of the detention of said debt and also their court and <lb/>charges by them about their suit in this behalf Expended and that they have thereof Execution <lb/>against the goods and chattles lands and tenements of the said Warner Lewis in the hands <lb/>of the said adminstrative and administrator to be administrated.</p>

<p>Now at this day come the circuit attorney aforesaid and the said <lb/>John William Nelson is brought into Court to hear his sentence whereupon it is ordered by the <lb/>Court that the said John Williams Nelson recieve ten lashes on his bare back and that he stand in <lb/>the Pillory half an hour and pay the sum of one Thousand and Eighty dollars as a fine for <lb/>the offence aforesaid and also the cost of this prosecution</p>

<p>Now at this day come the parties aforesaid by their respective attornies aforesaid <lb/>and neither of the parties requiring a Jury all and singular the premises are by therin submitted to the Court <lb/>which being seen and heard and by the Court here fully understood the Court do find and to the <choice><orig>ifsue</orig><reg>issue</reg></choice> with <lb/>in Joined between the parties aforesaid that the said defendant did undertake and promise in manner <lb/>and form as the said plaintiffs have above thereof complained against him and they <choice><orig>afsefs</orig><reg>assess</reg></choice> the same <lb/>age of the said plaintiffs as well by reason of the non performance of the promises and undertakings in <lb/>the said declaration mentioned as by reason of the non payment of the said Bills of Exchange to the sum <lb/>of five hundred and Eighty five dollars and one cent. <p>Now at this day comes the parties aforesaid by their respective attornies aforesaid <lb/>and neither of the parties requiring a Jury all and singular the premises are by them submitted to the <lb/>Court which being seen and heard and by the Court here fully understood the Court do find at to the <choice><orig>ifsue</orig><reg>issue</reg></choice> <lb/>within Joined between the parties aforesaid that the said Abraham Gallatin did not at the respective <lb/>terms when the said Jurors of attorney in the said petitionc mentioned become due and payable well and <lb/>truly pay and satisfy the same to the said Joel Bridge as above in his pleading hath alledged. <lb/>Therefore it is considered that the said Joel Bridge recover against the said Abraham Gallatin his <lb/>said debt of Two Thousand dollars and also the sum of Three Hundred and Seventy seven dollars fifty <lb/>cents for his damages by him sustained by reason of the satisfaction of said debt and if the said Abra <lb/>0ham Gallatin does not well and truly pay and satisfy the said sum of Two Thousand three hundred <lb/>and Seventy Seven dollars and fifty cents with interest on the sum of Two Thousand dollars. On or before <lb/>the Third day of the next Term of this Court then it is considered of the Sheriff of St. Louis County <lb/>will pay and satisfy the same with interest and coat of suit.</p>

<p>Now at this day come the parties aforesaid by their respective attornies <lb/>aforesaid and neither of the parties requiring a Jury all and singular the premises are by them submitted <lb/>to the Court which being seen and heard and by the Court here fully understood the court do find as to the <lb/><choice><orig>ifsue</orig><reg>issue</reg></choice> within Joined between the parties aforesaid that the said plaintiffs did use due diligence in ind<unclear unit="chars" rend="written" extent="=7"></unclear> <lb/>-ing to get the money recovered in the aforesaid Judgment against the said Michael Collier by sueing <unclear unit="chars" rend="written" extent="=3"></unclear>th <lb/>a capias ad satis facu<unclear unit="chars" rend="written" extent="=6"></unclear> as by law they were bound to use therefore it is considered that the said John Hal <lb/>-book and Lucinda Gay Executor and Executive as aforesaid have their Execution against the said Fred <lb/>-erick Dent for the said sum of One hundred and truly two dollars and fifty cents and also the sum of thirty <lb/>four dollars and thirty three cents for their cost and charges aforesaid equally to the prayer of the said <lb/>writ of Scira facius together with their cost and charges by them about their suit in this behalf expe- <lb/>-nded -and that they have thereof Execution-</p>

<p>Lewis Newell files an affidavit and on motion of H Cogens his attorney it is ruled that Thompson <choice><orig>Douglafs</orig><reg>Douglass</reg></choice> <lb/>their cause during this term of the Court why a mandamus should not <choice><orig>ifsue</orig><reg>issue</reg></choice> against him to compose him <lb/>to pay over certain monies by him collected on a Judgment of scire Lewis <unclear unit="chars" rend="written" extent="=6"></unclear> against one Nathan <lb/>Davidson in his capacity of Justice of the peace upon which the said Thompson <choice><orig>Douglafs</orig><reg>Douglass</reg></choice> appears <lb/>and files his answer in writing-</p>

<p>James H Peck presents the petition of Pelaga a woman of Color praying that <lb/>she may be permitted to institute a suit against Francis Valoris for establishing his right to freedom and that <lb/>she may be permitted to sue as a poor person thereupon the court permit the said Pelaga to sue as aforesaid <lb/>and direct an action of <choice><orig>afsault</orig><reg>assault</reg></choice> and battery and false imprisonment to be brought in the name of said <lb/>Pelaga against the said Francis Valoris and <choice><orig>afsign</orig><reg>assign</reg></choice> James H Peck as her counsel and it is ordered by <lb/>the counsel and the Court when occasion may require it and that the said petitioner shall not be taken <lb/>or removed out of the Jurisdiction of this Court or be subject to any severity of treatment on account of <lb/>her application for freedom</p>

<p>Now at this day come the said Henry W Turner by his attorney and the said Alexander <lb/>McNair in his sum proper person comes and defends the wrong and injury when se and says he can not <unclear unit="chars" rend="written" extent="=5"></unclear> the <lb/>action aforesaid of him the said plaintiff nor but that he hath sustained damage by reason of the non <lb/>performance of the promises and undertakings in the declaration mentioned to the sum of One Thousand <lb/>and thirty nine dollars ninety three cents wherefore the said plaintiffs prays judgment for his damages af <lb/>oresaid therefore it is considered that the said Henry W Turner recover against the said Alexander McNair his <lb/>damages aforesaid in form aforesaid by the Alexander McNair <choice><orig>confefsed</orig><reg>confessed</reg></choice> and also his court and charges by <lb/>his about his suit in this behalf expended and that he have thereof Execution - memoranden. The <lb/>above Judgment is <choice><orig>confefsed</orig><reg>confessed</reg></choice> on condition that Execution is stalled for six months and that the Judgm <lb/>-ent is then to be discharged in an office <unclear unit="chars" rend="written" extent="=6"></unclear> at the causal discount at the time such payment is <lb/>made to be administered by the Clerk of this Court</p>

<p>Now at this day come again the parties aforesaid by their respective attornies aforesaid <lb/>and submit to the Court the report of the arbitrators in this case which is by the court accepted there <lb/>-fore it is considered that the said John McDowell recover against the said Hyacinthe Guyon the sum of <lb/>fifty six dollars fifteen and a half cents adjudged by the said Arbitrators together with his cost and <lb/>charges by him about his suit in this behalf expended and that he have thereof Execution</p>

<p>Now at this day come the said plaintiffs by his attorney and the said defendants <lb/>their sum proper person come and defend the wrong and injury when and say they can not deny the action afore <lb/>said of him the said plaintiff not but that he has sustained damage by reason of the non performance of the <lb/>promises and undertakings in the declaration mentioned to the sum of One Thousand and sixty seven dollars and <lb/>seven cents wherefore the said plaintiffs pays Judgment for his damages aforesaid therefore it is considered that the <lb/>said James Clemens jr who sues for the use of Askew &amp; Paxson recover against the said James G Soulard and Atoine <lb/>Soulard his damages aforesaid in form aforesaid <choice><orig>confefsed</orig><reg>confessed</reg></choice> and also his cost and charges by him about his suit <lb/>in this behalf Expended and that he have thereof Execution and the said plaintiff agrees to stay Execution <lb/>untrue the fifteenth of July 1822 and the said defendants in their sum proper person agree that the Judgment <lb/>aforesaid shall bear interest at the rate of ten per cent for annu<unclear unit="chars" rend="written" extent="=8"></unclear> paid</p>
