                  </unclear> on the <date when="1842-03-01">first day
                            of March in the year eighteen hundred and forty two,</date> with
                        force and<lb/> arms at the County aforesaid made an an assault<lb/> upon her
                        the said <unclear rend="strikethrough" unit="chars"/>plaintiff and then and
                        there<lb/> beat, <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">

                        and then and<lb/> there imprisoned and detained and kept her the<lb/>
                        said plaintiff in prison from that time till<lb/> the present against the
