                    <p>Know all men by these presents that<lb/>
                    <persName>Mary January</persName> as principal and <persName>Angelique<lb/>
                        Augustine</persName>, and <persName>S. Ridgely</persName>  &amp; C.<lb/>
                    firmly bound unto the State of Missouri in the<lb/>
                    just and full sum of one thousand Dollars for<lb/>
                    the payment whereof we do hereby bind ourselves<lb/>
                    our heirs executors and administrators sealed <lb/>
                    with our seals and dated this<date when="1846-12-16"> 16th day<lb/>
                    December eighteen hundred and forty six</date>
                  <lb/>
                    The condition of this obligation is such that whereas the said <persName>Mary January</persName> has applied <lb/>
                        for and obtained a license to reside in the<lb/>
                    State of Missouri during good behavior.Now<lb/>
                    therefore if the said <persName>Mary</persName> shall be of good behavior during her residence in this state<lb/>
                    then this obligation shall be void, else of<lb/>
                    full force and effect</p>
