                    <p>Know all men by these presents that we <persName>Ann Hunt</persName> 
                  <lb/>
                        as principal and <persName>Robert Dickenson</persName> as security <lb/>
                        are <add place="above">each</add> held and firmly bound in the just sum <lb/>
                        of Two Hundred dollars to the state of <lb/>
                        <choice>
                     <orig>Mifsouri</orig>
                     
                  </choice> the payment whereof well and truly <lb/>
                        to be made we bindourselves our heirs execu- <lb rend="hyphen"/>
                        -tors &amp; administrators firmly by these presents
                    </p>
                    <p>The Condition of this obligation is such <lb/>
                        that whereas the said <persName>Ann Hunt</persName> has this <lb/>
                        day obtained from the County Court of St Louis <lb/>
                        County a license to remain in the state <del rend="strikethrough">of</del> 
                  <lb/>
                        as a free person of Color under the provision <lb/>
                        of an act entitled An Act to <del rend="strikethrough">permit</del> prevent <lb/>
                        more effectually, free persons of Color from <lb/>
                        entering into this state and for other purposes <lb/>
                        approved <date when="1843-02-23">23<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> February 1843</date> Now if the <lb/>
                        said <persName>Ann Hunt</persName> shall be of good behaviour <lb/>
                        during the Continuance of said License then <lb/>
                        the above obligation is void otherwise of full <lb/>
                        force and virtue. Signed &amp; sealed by us <lb/>
                        this <date when="1845-04-04">Fourt day of April AD 1845</date>
