               <p>Know all men by these presents that we as principal and as security are held
                  &amp; firmly bound unto the state of , in the sum of six hundred dollars, to
                  the payment whereof well &amp; truly to me made we bind ourselves, our heirs,
                  executors, administrators and assigns jointly &amp; severally firmly by these
                  presents. Sealed with our seals &amp; dated this <date when="1851-04-09">ninth
                     day of April Eighteen hundred and fifty one</date>.</p>
               <p>The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a suit has been
