               <p>The Mother of the <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">

                  </unclear> plaintiff commenced<lb/> 
                  <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>suit</supplied>
                  </unclear> in this Court against the defend<unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>ant</supplied>
                  </unclear>
                  <lb/> for her freedom; and the process in both<lb/> 
                  <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>cases</supplied>
                  </unclear> was <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>served</supplied>
                  </unclear> at the same time. The<lb/> defendant supposing that there <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>was</supplied>
                  </unclear> but<lb/> one Suit <sic>imployed</sic> Counsel in the <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>case</supplied>
                  </unclear>
                  <lb/> of the Mother Supposing and believing <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>that</supplied>
                  </unclear>
                  <lb/> the defence in that <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
