                  <lb/>on the <date when="1835-06-01">first day of June in the year 1835</date> 
                  <lb/>with force and arms made an assault upon <lb/>the said <persName>

                  </persName> in the Indian Country within <lb/>the Territory of the <placeName>

                  </placeName> and beyond the <lb/>limits of any particular state or territory to wit <lb/>at the County aforesaid and then and there <lb/>did beat <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">

                     <supplied>tie</supplied>
                  </unclear> strip <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
