said, did make him note in writing, called
a promissary note, with his proper hand subscribed
bearing date the day and year
aforesaid, and that note to the agent of

by which said note, the said

on their order, the sum of Two hundred
and forty nine dollars and eighty one
cents for value received.
By reason where

of the note aforesaid, and being so chargeable
