For that the said defendant<lb/> on the <date when="1831-11-23">twenty third day of November in the year<lb/> 1831</date> with force &amp; arms assaulted the said plaintiff<lb/> to wit at the county aforesaid then there beat<lb/> &amp; ill-treated her the said plaintiff <unclear rend="written" unit="chars">
                     <supplied>&amp; then &amp; there imprisoned her</supplied>
                  </unclear> &amp; detained her in prison there without any reasonable a pro-<lb/>bable cause whatsoever for a long time to writ for<lb/> the space of twenty four hours the next follow-<lb/>ing contains to the law of the land against the<lb/> will of the said plaintiff and other wrongs to<lb/> the said plaintiff then &amp; there did against the peace<lb/> &amp; dignity of the state of <placeName>
