Artist</persName> as principal and <lb/> <persName>John <unclear unit="word" quantity="1" rend="written"/> </persName> as security both of St Louis <lb/> are held and firmly bound unto the State <lb/> of <choice> <orig>Mifsouri</orig> </choice> in the sum of four hun <lb rend="hyphen"/> -dred dollars - two hundred dollars each <lb/> and no more - to the payment of which <lb/> sum well and truly to be made we <lb/> bind ourselves our heirs executors and <lb/> administrators firmly by these presents _ </p> <p>The condition of this obligation is <lb/> such that whereas.- <persName>N.D.
